What we do
We want our users to use a web technology that helps them to know how are the levels of performance, positive and negative impact of the main elements in their lives, world and planet, that are: countries, cities, products, services and organizations from government, businesses and nonprofits and themselves, to help them to make more positive impacts and reduce the negative impacts in their main roles in life: first training skills to make positive impact with project-based learning as students and later as consumers, citizens and professionals in their organizations.
To facilitate this complex process, a web (and future mobile) app would be the best option because web and mobile technologies can access all this information and interconnect people and organizations to increase our collective intelligence, awareness and action to make a more positive impact to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs for people, organizations and planet.
Our social impact
Our target users are divided in four user segments: students, consumers, citizens, professionals and their organizations. To start we are focusing in students as it is the starting point in life where you can train this interdisciplinary skills to make positive impact to accelerate the SDGs. Students will be trained to use the app during their studies in how to make a positive impact and reduce the negative impact to the SDGs by making projects for some course assignments that will train them to use the platform to be positive impact consumers, citizens and professionals within their organizations.
The tool could be used in high school, college, in bachelors, masters and phds. Also in other education institutions and in education technology organizations as a project-based learning tool to increase the positive impact to the SDGs. We are starting with students doing courses related to this fields: ecology, environmental sciences and engineering, human-centered design, education, innovation, entrepreneurship, strategy, social entrepreneurship, impact investing, corporate social responsibility, environmental social and governance, arts, humanities, philosophy, applied courses in science, technology and engineering, economic development, international development, sustainable development, human rights, government and policy and many other related courses. There are thousands of courses and programs with millions of students enrolled in courses like this around the world. This is our first user target, then maybe we could scale to other courses less related.
