Refugee Livelihoods via anywhere-anytime translation

.

.

What we do

MotaWord (www.MotaWord.com) provides an ideal platform for refugee/migrant/IDP livelihoods. Translation work is wherever / whenever, and without deadlines.

We work with NGOs, international organizations, volunteers, and host country linguists.  Clients choose to source work via our refugee linguist community for their own social good goals, for CSR, or to comply with the UN mandate to source work via refugees whenever possible.

We are not a concept project--MotaWord is a fully functional private sector business, with 12000 translators across 80+ languages.  We aim to share that tech infrastructure with the public sector world.

We seek partners to help implement our #techforgood.

Our social impact

We provide work for refugees / migrants / IDPs who are language professionals, or can be trained as linguists.  Since MotaWord work is wherever / whenever, the language pair of the refugee does not need to align with their physical location.  Since MotaWord (www.MotaWord.com) works in 80+ languages, we can provide work to refugees while also providing work (different work) to the host communities.
