Instytut Aurea Libertas

Fundacja Instytut Aurea Libertas has wide experience in designing and realization of the social projects using innovative solutions and technologies; among them “E-Government 2.0 in Practice” (using Web 2.0 in public administration and in grassroots citizen’s initiatives, i.e. practical use of e-participation, e-consultations, e-petitions), “Krakow’s Local Governments Ranking” (an audit of the work of local government councilors and district councilors), “E-Republic” (collective public decision making process with the use of the Internet), “1989: Fall of Communism in Eastern Europe” (innovative forms of historical education for youth). As an organization operating in Poland & other Eastern European countries Instytut Aurea Libertas gained experience in running social projects in communities affected by the phenomenon of low civic activity (which is the major problem in this region) and in using SSH-ICT synergies to empower the civic activity.
